A friend/former employer of mine, once put his arm around me & said: “Jeremy, when I was about your age, (26), a man I knew gave me a book and told me what I am about to tell you”. “You are an extremely talented young man but; you NEED to be BETTER, much, much better”. “Read it”…
This particular man had $250k (liquid), in his checking account. His house was at the top of a mountain & was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright . His car? A custom built, Rolls Royce— El Camino-like, pick-up truck…
Growing up, I attended public schools. In fourth grade; I was made to read, “Anne of Green Gables”???
That book made me fall asleep.
Mr. Carnegies book made me a better person…:)
Thank you for posting his ideas; for those of us who don’t think that now, nor shall we ever; know everything…:)

Hi Lyman, Thank you for spreading the word. That’s a good point because I remember being turned off by the title too. Now I’ve read it many times and it’s at the top of my recommended books to read. Thanks.
