I just got an email from Gary Vurnum (one of the first success writers I discovered on the ‘net - and still one of my favorites) about a new pdf report he’s created - The Hidden Secret in Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich Finally Revealed.

The secret that Gary talks about is so simple and so common (I know you’ve heard it before) that most people will probably need the explanation that the report gives to accept it… and it really struck me that it’s very different from the “Ask, Believe, Receive” idea from the popular book and movie “The Secret.”  Although they are related, there’s one key difference that either I missed in the movie, or it never was there.

Enough out of me, though.  I’d highly suggest that you download and read Gary’s report - I was both shocked and pleasantly surprised when I read it, and I think that you’ll be too.

Recently, Tamara released a new free ebook, titled “What You MUST Do To Set in Motion the Law of Attraction.”

I really enjoyed this one (otherwise, I wouldn’t be writing about it. )  In just a few pages, Tamara does a great job of using analogies from both popular culture (like Neo’s “rebirth” in The Matrix) and common objects like a jar to explain how the Law of Attraction affects our lives, and how we can begin using it to our own advantage.

Just a couple of days ago, Esther Hicks, Jerry Hicks, and Abraham released their latest book - Money, and the Law of Attraction.

I normally shy away from posting about excerpts (the last one that had enough stand-alone content was the “leaked” chapter from Chris Cade’s How to Write Short Stories for Spiritual Growth) - but the excerpt for Money, and the Law of Attraction has some real meat to it.  It clarifies much about Abraham, explains the Pivot Process, and includes the following story which really opened my eyes [look, it's an excerpt from the excerpt ] -

Focus on the Solution, Not the Problem

In the midst of what the television weatherman was calling “a serious drought,” our friend Esther walked down one of the paths on their Texas Hill Country property, noticing the dryness of the grass and feeling real concern for the well-being of the beautiful trees and bushes that were all beginning to show signs of stress from the shortage of rain. She noticed that the birdbath was empty even though she had filled it with water just a few hours earlier, and then she thought about the thirsty deer who had probably jumped the fence to drink the small amount of water that it held. And so, as she was pondering the direness of the situation, she stopped, looked upward, and - in a very positive voice, with very positive sounding words - said, “Abraham, I want some rain.”

And we said immediately back to her, “Indeed, from this position of lack, you think you will get rain?”

“What am I doing wrong?” she asked.

And we asked, “Why do you want the rain?”

And Esther answered, “I want it because it refreshes the earth. I want it because it gives all of the creatures in the bushes water so that they have enough to drink. I want it because it makes the grass green, and it feels good upon my skin, and it makes us all feel better.”

And we said, “Now, you are attracting rain.”
