Free Personal Development Material

I’ve just about filled my iPod with audio books from LearnOutLoud.com, and even though I just wrote about their fantastic site a few days ago, I wanted to share another discovery I made on their site.

In their Wealth Wisdom Podcast, they have three classic audio books available that I haven’t seen anywhere else - at least not as free, full versions:

• The Way to Wealth by Benjamin Franklin
• The Art of Money Getting by P.T. Barnum
• Acres of Diamonds by Russell Conwell

While I love modern information on wealth creation, these three audio books focus on unchanging principles, rather than current trends - which is why they’ve stood the test of time.

I just came across an outstanding resource for free educational and personal development audiobooks: LearnOutLoud.com.  As I write this, I’m listening to a perfectly recorded free audio version of As A Man Thinketh by James Allen.

As I browsed around the site, I came across the following free titles that readers of this blog might be interested in:

• Self Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson
• Yes You Can by Jim Donovan
• Extraordinary Leadership by Robin Sharma

Those just scratch the surface - the LearnOutLoud.com Free Directory has over 500 titles available in downloadable audio and streaming video format, and their podcast directory currently has 195 titles available in the Self Development category alone.  I’d also recommend that you subscribe to their blog and newsletters so you can keep up to date on the newest titles as they are added.
